The North Texas School of Swedish Massage was founded in 1994 by Don Halsell, Marilyn Halsell, and their daughter Nilda Halsell-Tull. The family fell in love with massage therapy and wanted to provide others with the opportunity to enjoy life along with their career. Becoming a massage therapist allows a person to choose to have a positive impact and positive change everyday. We believe in a healthy balance between Faith, family, and your career. A career in massage therapy can allow that—the opportunity to be successful without sacrificing everything else.

OUR GOAL

NTSSM's goal is to provide an educational opportunity for each student to meet the state of Texas’ requirements for gaining the educational requirements to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Texas. We strive to provide an exceptional education at an affordable price. For this reason, we focus quality over quantity; classes are kept small so that students gain the hands on experience and attention from instructors that we believe is necessary for students to be successful.
